Tell your Senator to support JASTA!

Senators now all use web forms to accept emails. Find your Senator's web form. Just cut and paste the email into the form on each site and fill in the contact information request in each form. Please sign your email to them and include the name of your loved one or if you are a survivor or a concerned citizen. It is critical that we, as a body of voters and supporters, family members, survivors and friends, contact these senators now. Otherwise, JASTA may languish for years or not happen at all. That would be a terrible signal to sponsors of terrorism and a pass we will live to regret.

I am writing to ask you to join in supporting the JASTA Legislation introduced by Senator Schumer and original co-sponsors Sens. Whitehouse, Kyl, Hatch, Cornyn and Graham and press for its prompt passage.

Ten years after the murder of almost 3,000 souls on American soil, many of those who enabled and sponsored the murderers who carried it out still remain outside the law. Please make JASTA a reality and a law now, so that all sponsors of terrorism know they cannot hide behind a misinterpretation of the FSIA or the Antiterrorism Act ever again! The families of the victims, the survivors and friends don’t want to wait any longer to seek justice and eliminate the veil of secrecy behind which the enablers continue to be protected and finance future terrorism in the US.

After more than ten long and painful years, it is time to make this happen.
